Understanding what shape us
When you feel stuck, under pressure, or not quite yourself and cannot fully explain why, it often becomes difficult to know what to do next. I am Heidi Steijnberg, a Registered Counsellor and Psychometrist, offering individual counselling and psychometric assessments to individuals, including adolescents, adults, employers, employees and teams.
In one-on-one work, I support individuals navigating personal challenges by helping them make sense of their experiences, recognise underlying patterns, and move towards improved personal functioning, relationships, and wellbeing. Alongside this, I work with organisations to support people management through structured, insight-driven assessment, informing recruitment, role fit, and development to support more effective, informed people decisions.

With a focus on relationship-based approaches, my work centers on developing insight and understanding, creating a space where individuals feel heard and able to engage more clearly with themselves, and where organisations can make decisions that support long-term fit and effectiveness.
